EDDIE MURPHY WELCOMES 10TH CHILD WITH GIRLFRIEND PAIGE BUTCHER

Actor and comedian, Eddie Murphy has welcomed his 10th child, as his girlfriend, Paige Butcher, a model, reportedly gave birth to their second child together on 30^th November. They named their son Max Charles Murphy. The 57-year-old actor and his 39-year-old girlfriend are already parents to a daughter Izzy Oona, who is two years old. Eddie already has nine children, one with Paige and the others with other women, the first of which was born in 1989 by Paulette McNeely.

Eddie’s first son Eric, who is now 29, was born in close succession with his eldest children with Nicole Mitchell and Tamara Hood, with Tamara’s son Christian being aged 28, as well as Nicole’s first child with Eddie, named Bria.

MANDELA 100 GLOBAL CITIZEN CONCERT IN SOUTH AFRICA

On 2^nd December 2018 in South Africa, Global Citizen brought together its largest contingency of heads of state, dignitaries, a group of the world’s most talented artists and influencers, and thousands of global citizens to celebrate the centenary of Nelson Mandela. Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 set a historic stage for not only donor countries but also for African countries standing up for his hope for the future, making sure that Africa was standing up and getting its voice heard.

At the event, His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, addressed FNB Stadium and viewers around the world with a message of Global Citizenship, committing RAND 2 million for youth in South Africa, and announcing the government’s intention to spend RAND 6 billion to provide free access to school for poor children in South Africa.

Celebrities that graced the event included top popstars, Beyonce and husband Jay-Z; Ed Sheeran, Usher; Model Naomi Campbell, Chris Martin, Pharrell Williams and Oprah Winfrey.

LUKA MODRIC WINS THE 2018 BALLON D'OR

Real Madrid and Croatia midfielder Luka Modric won the 2018 Ballon d'Or, becoming the first player other than Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to claim the award in more than a decade. Modric, 33, won his third successive Champions League in May 2018 before helping Croatia to a first World Cup final. Victory caps a stellar year for Modric, who also was named the world’s top male player at the Best FIFA Football Awards and received the Golden Ball award for the best player at the World Cup.
