Here are some photos from the 2018 Calabar Carnival which was held on Friday, December 28 across major Streets in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Streets covered were; Marian road, Mary Slessor Avenue, Calabar Road, Stadium Road, IBB and lots more.. Special dignitaries were the Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade and his wife, former governor of the state, Donald Duke, Nollywood stars, among others.

Nollywood light-skinned actress Iyabo Ojo who turned 41 Saturday looked amazing in the series of photos she shared on social media. She is a graduate of Estate Management from Lagos State Polytechnic. FUN FARE AT THE BORN IN AFRICA FESTIVAL

It was fun fare at the recently concluded Born in Africa Festival as Awilo Longomba, who is one of the Congo's finest musicians, and some Nigerian artistes thrilled guests to superlative performances. The event was organized by Access Bank Plc to drive innovation and support creative talents. The show was opened by a performance by Falz the Bahd Guy as super models simultaneously graced the stage with their presence and dress designs by South Africa’s David Tlale.

The roller coaster of performances had only just taken off when Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Yemi Alade, Awilo Longomba, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, D’Banj and South Africa’s Sho Madjozi, took guests on a journey with their energetic performances.

Catriona Gray has been crowned Miss Universe 2018. The beauty queen who represents Philippines was declared the winner of the 2018 Miss Universe pageant at the grand finale ceremony held in Bangkok, Thailand. Other beauty queens who performed well include Miss South Africa Tamaryn Green who was the first runner-up and Miss Venezuela Sthefany Gutiérrez was the second runner-up. The show was hosted by Steve Harvey and Ashley Graham, while Ne-Yo delivered a special performance. Catriona Gray is successor to South Africa’s Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters who was 2017 Miss Universe.
